Download the Windows Server 2022 ISO
1. Go to the webste Download link
Or go to the website: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/evalcenter/evaluate-windows-server-2022
2. Click on Download the ISO file as highlighted below.
3. Fill all the data in Register page for and click on Download.
4. Click 64-bit edition.
5. Wait until download completes.
Install Windows Server 2022 on VMWare Workstaion
1. Open VMWare Workstation.
If you have not installed virtualbox, then go to through below link and install it.

2. Click on Create a New Virtual Machine.
3. Select the option “I will install Operating System Later” and click on next.
4. Select guest operating system as Microsoft Windows and Version as Windows Server 2022.
5. Provide the name for Virtual Machine, select Virtual machine files and folders to be copied and click on Next.
6. Provde the Maximum disk size and click on install.
7. If you want to change the hardware information from the summary, click customize hardware. Otherwise click on Finish.
8. Now, click on Edit Virtual machine settings.
9. Then, click on CD/DVD, select Use ISO image file and click ok.
10. Now click on Play Virtual Machine.
11. Click on next.
12. Click on Install.
13. Select operating system that you want to install(Standard or Data Center) and click on Next.
14. Select checkbox to accept Microsoft license terms and click on next.
15. Select Custom type installation for fresh installation.
16. If you want to create a drive click on new(We can create drive after installation also). Otherwise just click on Next.
17. Wait until installation completes. After this completes, Virtual machine will be restarted.
18. Now provide the password for built-in administrator account.
19. To unlock the virtual machine, Ctrl-Alt-Del. Then provide the password.
