In this article, we will see the reason and solution for below error. I have received this error when tried to install Oracle 19c database on Windows 11.
INS-30014 Unable to check whether the location specified is on CFS
Reason for INS-30014 Unable to check whether the location specified is on CFS
1. Provided location doesn’t have appropriate required permissions.
2. On Windows 11, we have to disable internet. Otherwise Windows 11 tries to connect to Microsoft so disable internet before clicking on setup file on Windows 11.
Solution:
1. We have to grant appropriate permissions on the path provided.
2. If it is Windows 11, we have to disable and the internet and start the installation process.
