Minimum 2GB free RAM.
10GB of empty space on Hard Disk Drive
A processor that supports Intel EM64T or AMD64 architecture.
Display card with a minimum resolution of 1024×768 pixels.
16GB SWAP space if RAM is more than 16GB.
Download Oracle 21c Database
1. Go to Oracle official download page and by clicking on Download Oracle Software
To download Oracle Database 21c software we must have Oracle account. Its free to create. Create it by clicking on below link.

2. Click on download adjacent to the Microsoft Windows x64 (64-bit) as highlighted above. Then select the checkbox as highlighted below and click on Download Windows……
3. Then provide the oracle user account details as mentioned in step 1. Once we click on Sign in, Download automatically starts.
4. Now downaload starts.Wait until download completes.
Install Oracle 21c database on Windows 11
1. Once download is completed, extract the zip file.
2. Now create a folder in C drive with the name db_home. Copy the extracted files to this location.
3. Now double click on setup file from extracted files which is bottom file in the list as shown below.
4. Choose the first option to create and configure a single instance database and click on next.
5. We have to select type of installation either desktop or server class. In this article, we are going to install Desktop class. Then, click on next.
Desktop class to install Oracle database 21c on our laptop or desktop. because this option perform the basic installation of Oracle 21c on our system.
Server class is generally used when we are installing Oracle database 21c on server grade machine.
6. We need account to configure on windows. We have following options.
Use Virtual Account
Use existing Windows User
Create New Windows User
Use Windows Built-in Account.
We are going to use Create New Windows User.
7. Now, we have to configure the database. On the Oracle base, provide the path or click on drop-down and select the path. Once change this path Database file location also changes. Choose database edition Enterprise Edition(or standard). Then provide the password and leave remaining fields as defaults.
8. Now click on next to run the prerequisite checks.
9. Review the summary and click on install to start the Oracle Database 21c on windows 11.
10. Installation is completed.
Connect to Oracle Database 21c after installation
1. Start, then search for SQL Plus.
2. Then for username, provide ‘/’ as sysdba and press enter
